Meet the Team

Laura Jane

Laura is a Provisional Psychologist that is excited to have recently started at Head 2 Toe. 

Laura has provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She is also a Registered Clinical Counsellor and member of the Australian Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Laura enjoys supporting children and families and has over 10 years experience working in health care and education. She is passionate about helping young people to realise their potential and supporting them in being the best that they can be.  

Laura's personality is caring, kind, friendly and fun. Her approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. She has training and experience with several therapeutic modalities, including:

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Narrative Therapy
• Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
• Motivational Interviewing

Laura strives to create a therapeutic environment where young people feel comfortable be their true self and feel safe to share how they are feeling. She particularly enjoys learning about her clients interest and strengths, and finding fun ways to incorporate these into her sessions. 

In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, friends, and pet cat. She also likes riding her bike and going on holiday to new places.
